The purpose of the Mother Lode Region Medical Program is to provide a resource for medical information for OEC instructors and patrollers. The Medical Advisor is an M.D. with board certification in internal medicine. He has a long time interest in wilderness medicine, is an OEC and mountaineering instructor, and is a member of the Wilderness Medical Society.
